Volunteering Services Offered

Volunteer Brokerage
Details: Information, guidance, support. Confidential interviews. Includes people with extra support needs. MV Project for 16-24 year olds.

Training
Details: Accredited training for volunteers, Accredited Volunteer Certificate at levels 1 and 2. Working with others level 2, Communication skills level 2. Training for volunteer managers, Introduction/refresher level 2 days (unaccredited), and advanced sessions on specific topics. Also coaching for level 3 Lantra qualification in volunteer management. Also, training sessions for MVs on First Aid etc.

Details: Integrated service, for people with learning difficulties, significant physical disabilities, recovering from mental health problems, or very low confidence. Referrals to full range of organisations.

Youth Volunteering
Details: MV project part of VC. Range of opportunities in organisations, and group short term opportunities. Also social activities and some training available.

BME/BRM
Details: Links with local Multicultural Forum, and Warrington Ethnic Community Association.

Conferences/Promotional Events
Details: Annual Conference for members of Warrington Association of Volunteer Management. (WAVM)Various promotional events, Volunteers Fair etc.
